Consider talk therapy an investment in yourself and your well-being!

Currently, I am accepting the following insurances:

Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield
Oscar Health
Oxford
United Healthcare
See the Services page for information regarding sliding scale services for those who are paying out-of-pocket.
In my experience, insurance companies can be restrictive and have often dictated the length of treatment and the type of issues and services that are covered. By providing services that are currently out-of-pocket only, my clients and I are able to indivdualize treatment. This flexibiliy means we can determine what issues are worth addressing and how long we work on them without the constraints of authorization. Additionally, by not using insurance companies this allows for further privacy of your health information.
What is sliding scale therapy and do you offer it?
Yes! I come from a social work background and I believe in making therapy more accessible to all. In an effort to do this, I am offering Sliding-scale therapy services. This simply means that I am offering session fees based on what you can afford.
Please use the Contact Me feature on the Home page to inquire about getting affordable therapy services.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
I understand that for many, talk therapy is accompanied by additional social supports and supportive services such as family, sponsorship and medical providers including psychiatrists and primary care physicians. I believe in a team approach and I am happy and willing to coordiante with those involved in my clients’ care.
For coordination of care to take place, I require a signed HIPAA consent form.
